Services Division

The service division is managed by a configuration manager which is supported by a service supervisor with field and bench technicians

All product offerings are supported by Global’s engineering services, which include:

  • Site surveys and documentation
  • Pre-sales system design
  • Project management
  • Network engineering
  • Logistical control and quality assurance
  • Commissioning
  • Acceptance testing

Global’s engineering services are provided by a four-tiered system where each tier represents a competency level: i.e. engineer, technical specialist, senior technical specialist and technical consultant.  These services include:

  • Installation of hardware, software infrastructure (e.g. cabling, cabinets)
  • Quality and system integrity checks on installations
  • As-build documentation
  • Project management
  • High level technical support
  • Business development and customer liaison
  • In-house and out-house technical/system training
  • Pre-sales services for design and project definition including scope of work and
  • ATP definition.
